Pinheiro Neto assists Farm Tech on the issuance of senior quotas
Pinheiro Neto Advogados assisted Farm Tech Gestão de Recursos on the first issuance of the second series of Farm Tech Bradesco Asset Agro I Fundo de Investimento em Direitos Creditórios (FIDC) senior quotas.
The FIDC seeks to acquire agribusiness credit rights by purchasing credit securities from the sector, such as promissory notes, agricultural letters of credit (LCA), agribusiness receivables certificates (CRAs) and rural product notes (CPRs).
The fund’s assignors are agribusiness companies and rural producers’ cooperatives, which carry out product trading operations with their respective clients, characterizing the operation as multi-stakeholder.
The FIDC issued BRL 30 million in second series senior quotas which were subscribed by professional investors by means of the lead underwriter’s placement efforts and by parties involved in the structuring of the FIDC.
Pinheiro Neto Advogados acted as deal counsel, advising ABC Brasil Distribuidora de Títulos e Valores Mobiliários (lead underwriter); and Farm Tech Gestão de Recursos (FIDC´s co-portfolio manager) and relied on partner Rafael Gaspar (pictured), associates Winnie Tchi Li and Gabriel Freitas A. Santos.
