Porto Farias Advogados hires Thiago Ribeiro
Porto Farias Advogados has expanded its Tax Consulting practice with the arrival of Thiago Ribeiro as coordinator of the São Paulo office’s expansion. The move comes as Brazil’s Tax Reform reshapes the country’s business environment, and the firm says the hire will bolster its capacity to support companies adapting to the new tax system, offering specialized advice to address the regulatory, fiscal and operational challenges arising from the changes.

He holds a law degree from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF) and a postgraduate qualification from Lund University in Sweden. Over the course of his career, he has specialized in Public Law and Infrastructure, working on the structuring, negotiation and management of administrative contracts, concessions and public-private partnerships, alongside regulatory compliance, legal risk management and strategic support for infrastructure ventures, as well as knowledge of European Union legislation and its main regulatory frameworks.
