PPU advised Chilco on merger control issues in Colombia

Colombian energy distributor Chilco instructed Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría on merger control matters arising from a recent acquisition bid. 

Chilco is the Colombian subsidiary of Chilean gas distribution company Lipigas and trades under the brands Gas Pais and Lidergas.

In 2016 Chilco announced the acquisition of the LP gas distribution assets of rival company Gas and Oil Engeneering.

Partners Diego Cardona and Felipe Cubero led the PPU team advising Chilco.
