PPU advised EEB on asset sale in Colombia

Philippi, Prietocarrizosa, Ferrero DU & Uría helped Empresa de Energía de Bogotá shed its stakes in Promigas, Nutresa and other companies. 

Empresa de Energía de Bogotá (EEB) is Colombia’s second largest electricity distributor, it is part of Grupo Energía de Bogotá. EEB´s majority shareholder is the city of Bogota. 

The company unloaded its holdings inPromigas, Interconexion Electrica SA and Grupo Nutresa via a public offering through the Colombian stock exchange. The second stage of the sale of its shares in Nutresa was handled through an auction via the XSTREAM system of the stock exchange.
