PPU advised ENEX on $23.5 million acquisition in Chile

Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría acted for Empresa Nacional de Energía (ENEX) on the acquisition of Terminal de Combustibles PMC and Oleoducto ERSA-PMC. in Puerto Ventanas, Chile.

ENEX was founded in 2011 as a subsidiary of Quiñenco, a diversified investment conglomerate in Chile, when the latter acquired the assets of Shell in the country. The company is now the second largest fuel distributor in Chile, operating Shell service stations and distributing Shell lubricants.

Terminal de Combustibles PMC and Oleoducto ERSA-PMC are owned by PMC Terminal de Combustibles and Petróleos Marinos de Chile, affiliates of Glencore.
