PPU advises Ibereólica on the sale of its shares

Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría Peru has advised Ibereólica Renovables Peru, a company belonging to Grupo Ibereólica Renovables, on the sale of 100% of the shares of Ibereólica Caravelí to Celsia.

This transaction was signed on 16 August 2023, and closed on 27 May 2024.

Ibereólica Caravelí owns the 218MW Caravelí Wind Project, located in the District of Lomas, province of Caravelí, Arequipa, Peru.

Rodrigo Elías & Medrano advised Celsia through partners Luis Enrique Palacios and Alejandro Manayalle, and associates Efraín Salazar and Sebastian Calle.

PPU’s team was led by partners Rafael Puiggros (pictured left) and Rafael Lengua (pictured right), with support from principal associates Sergio Rodríguez and Angela García, and associates Steven Hu and Daniella Ginocchio.
