PPU advises on credit line in favour of TASA

Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría has represented Scotiabank Peru and Coöperatieve Rabobank on a club deal financing operation, in which they granted a credit line in favour of Tecnológica de Alimentos (TASA).

This transaction, closed on 22 April, marks the first local sustainable financing to a local fishing company, which is secured by a pledge on fishing vessels owned by the borrower. The firm Miranda y Amado acted as advisor to TASA.

In-house counsels involved in the transaction were Claudia Angulo for TASA; Jorge Miranda for Raabobank; and Derek Rickets and Krystell Montenegro for Scotiabank.

PPU’s team consisted of partner Ignacio López de Romaña (pictured left), principal associate Carlos González Prada (pictured top right), and associate Augusto Iberico (pictured bottom right).
