PPU counsels Mill Point Capital in acquisition from FEMSA
Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría has advised Mill Point Capital regionally in Chile, Colombia and Peru on the acquisition of Fomento Económico Mexicano’s (FEMSA) Imbera and Torrey commercial refrigeration and foodservice equipment businesses in several Latin American jurisdictions.
This transaction, signed on 17 July, was worth USD $425 million and involved the jurisdictions of Mexico, the United States, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Argentina, Bolivia, Uruguay and Venezuela.
Other participating firms were Creel García-Cuéllar Aiza y Enríquez, Ferrere Abogados, D’Empaire Reyna Abogados, Mattos Filho, Aguilar Castillo Love, PBP Pérez Bustamante & Ponce and Beccar Varela.
