PPU instructed on $10 million media deal in Chile

Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría acted for TV Medios in the acquisition of a 33% stake in Canal 13 for $10 million. 

Canal 13 is Chile´s second oldest and second most watched free-to-air TV channel. It was founded in 1959 by owners Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. According to the media coverage of the deal, the agreement gives TV Medios full control of Canal 13.

Partner Juan Francisco Gutiérrez led the PPU team advising TV Medios.

The sellers instructed Cariola Pérez Cotapos.
