PPU instructed on Amcor expansion in Colombia
Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría advised Team Foods Colombia on the sale of its speciality container division Plasticos Team to Amcor.
Amcor is an Australian multinational packaging company. Plasticos Team makes preforms, bottles, thin-wall containers and closures. The sellers, Team Foods Colombia, is a food producer.
The deal, of undisclosed value, sets the expansion of Amcor in the region. The company already owns three facilities in Colombia.
Partner Hernando Padilla led the PPU team advising the sellers.
Amcor instructed Foley & Lardner as international counsel and Brigard & Urrutia as Colombian counsel.
