RAD and Echecopar assist in $41.7m financing for Camposol
Rebaza Alcázar & De Las Casas has assisted Camposol in a leaseback transaction on some of its properties and a USD $41,746,172.30 financing from Interbank, under the assistance of Estudio Echecopar, associated with Baker & McKenzie International.
Camposol will use this financing to refinance short-term debt and for other corporate uses. The leaseback contract was signed on 1 August and the disbursement was made on 7 August.
The transaction involved the execution of a Leaseback Agreement and a Sale and Purchase Agreement between the Lessor and Camposol, as well as a joint and several surety bond provided by Camposol Holding (an entity incorporated under the laws of Cyprus).
Alvaro Carrasco and Alberto Molina acted as in-house lawyers for Campsol.
