Rebaza, Alcázar & De Las Casas launches venture capital practice

Peruvian law firm Rebaza, Alcázar & De Las Casas announced the launch of a dedicated venture capital practice.

The move, thought to be a first among Peruvian law firms, is set to capitalise on the perceived growth of the local entrepreneurial ecosystem. The Peruvian market for entrepreneurship and technological innovation has seen a constant and exponential progress in the last years, going from startups incubators initiatives to a market comprised of thousands of entrepreneurs who, with a fresh and modern mentality, are in search of sufficient capital for the development of their business ideas, noted the firm in the announcement.

Rebaza Alcázar has developed a track record advising entrepreneurs in starting their businesses and taking all the next steps and necessary protections for the seed financing rounds and follow on rounds. The firm has also acted for incubators, accelerators and angel investors’ networks by structuring efficient processes for the support and integration between entrepreneurs and investors.

Founding partner Alberto Rebaza and corporate partner Alexandra Orbezo will lead the new practice group.
