Rebaza, Alcázar & De Las Casas promotes projects and infrastructure counsel to partner

Peruvian law firm Rebaza, Alcázar & De Las Casas announced the promotion of María Luisa Peña Hartog, an energy and infrastructure counsel, to the partnership. 

Peña Hartog is a graduate from the Universidad de Lima Law School and has over 18 years of experience in project finance and infrastructure projects in energy, oil & gas, renewable energy, ports and transport, among other sectors. Among other recent transactions, Peña Hartog worked on the winning bid for the concession of the new Cuzco Airport and also in the concession of the Gasoducto Sur Peruano (GSP), a $8 billion gas pipeline in the south of Peru.

In the announcement, senior partner Juan José Cárdenas, Head of the Projects & Infrastructure practice of the firm, added “we have been involved in one way or the other in most of the relevant infrastructure projects being developed in Peru in recent years. In this context, the promotion of María Luisa to partner is a sign of the strengthening of the Projects & Infrastructure practice.”

With this promotion, Rebaza, Alcázar & De Las Casas is now home to 14 partners.
