Rebaza Alcázar hires compliance officer
Peruvian law firm Rebaza, Alcázar & De las Casas announced the addition of Sheila Vargas as its new compliance officer.
Vargas joins from EY where she supervised the risk management area.
Vargas is a Business Administration graduate from Catholic University of Peru with 10 years of experience in Project, Quality and Risk Management. She also has a postgraduate degree in Advanced Specialization in Implementation and Auditing of Integrated Quality Systems.
At the firm, Vargas will be tasked with the implementation of a new compliance program based on procedures that ensure the adequate design of internal and external regulatory compliance activities.
