RE&M promotes 5 new partners

Rodrigo Elías & Medrano has announced the promotion to partners of Mariana Delgado, Sebastián Heudebert, Bruno Zanolo, José Luis Medina and Nicolás Bellido, to strengthen, respectively, the Mining/Environmental, Tax, Arbitration, Compliance and Criminal areas.

Mariana Delgado (pictured left) joined the firm in 2011. She provides legal advice to domestic and foreign public and private sector companies and state entities on natural resources issues, as well as on the management of licences, permits, authorisations and approval of environmental management instruments for mining and natural resources activities.

Sebastián Heudebert (pictured centre, left) joined the RE&M in 2011. He provides tax advisory services to domestic and foreign companies, as well as consultancy on tax planning issues. In addition, he advises during audit proceedings and administrative proceedings before the tax authorities and the Tax Court. He was previously an international tax associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in New York.

Bruno Zanolo (pictured centre) has been with RE&M since 2010. He advises clients on the design and execution of comprehensive legal problem-solving strategies. He advises clients in arbitration, as well as in civil, constitutional, commercial and contentious-administrative proceedings.

José Luis Medina (pictured centre, right) joined the firm in 2016. He has extensive experience in the criminal defence of clients as defendants, defendants and defendants in preliminary investigations and criminal proceedings, as well as in the development of appropriate procedural strategies for the due protection of the rights and interests of each client. He advises on the design, review and implementation of crime prevention programmes, referring to the Money Laundering Prevention System before the Financial Intelligence Unit (SBS).

Nicolás Bellido (pictured right) has been with the firm since 2011. He advises on the design and implementation of procedural strategies as an aggrieved or accused party, provides advice on liability and criminal contingencies, as well as on the initiation, monitoring and evaluation of criminal proceedings.
