Ritch Mueller assists Auna in acquisition of OCA
Ritch Mueller has assisted Grupo Salud Auna Mexico in a credit and guarantee agreement, under which Banco Santander Mexico, as administrative agent, provided USD $350 million to finance the acquisition of Organización Clínica América (OCA).
With this acquisition, Auna adds 550 hospital beds, 130 ICU beds and 475 consulting rooms to its network of health centres in Mexico.
OCA’s hospital network, with a presence primarily in the city of Monterrey, Mexico, includes OCA Hospital, Ocah, Doctors Hospital, DH, and Doctors Hospital East, DHE.
Auna is a provider of oncology health plans in Peru and operates hospitals at all levels of complexity in Peru, Colombia and Mexico.
