Ritch Mueller names Brenda Rogel as partner
Ritch Mueller has appointed Brenda Rogel Salgado (pictured) as a new partner in the Environmental and Social Impact practice, where she joined on 1 January 2023.
Brenda has more than 20 years of experience in the practice of environmental and regulatory law, advising on the diagnosis, understanding and management of environmental and regulatory risks associated with business start-ups, acquisitions, operations, expansions or divestitures.
She is considered an expert in the management of contaminated sites and environmental emergencies, as well as the formulation of sustainability and climate change strategies, permit analysis, compliance and regulatory programmes. Brenda has worked in the defence of different industries and projects, when government agencies initiate enforcement actions, impose sanctions or impose measures contrary to law. She has also handled strategic investigations and litigation to protect the environment, adapt to climate change and promote women’s and minority rights.
She has a law degree from the Universidad Iberoamericana and a Diploma in Environmental Justice and Litigation from the same university.
