Rodrigo Elías instructed on Peruvian chapter of plastic deal
Rodrigo, Elias & Medrano Abogados advised PolyOne on the Peruvian aspects of its acquisition of Rutland.
PolyOne Corporation is a global provider of specialized polymer materials, services, and solutions. The company is headquartered in Ohio, US and it has 60 manufacturing sites and 9 distribution facilities across North and South America, Europe and Asia.
Rutland specializes in customized formulations for consumer applications in screen printing inks for the apparel market. The company is headquartered in North Carolina.
Through this acquisition, of undisclosed value, PolyOne gained control of Rutland’s brands, assets and facilities, including a factory in Lima.

Riverside, the private equity firm which owned Rutland, instructed Jones Day for the sale.
