Schmidt Valois introduces reinforcement to take over German Desk
Schmidt Valois Miranda Ferreira & Agel Advogados has introduced the German-Brazilian lawyer Claudio Köhler as a new partner to reinforce the German Desk of the firm.
With more than three decades of practice in the areas of corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, administrative law, public private partnerships and infrastructure, mining law and energy, the new partner takes over the German Desk of the firm to strengthen bridges between German clients in Brazil and Europe, with special emphasis on structuring investments and business in sustainable energies, such as hydrogen and green ammonia.
Graduated from the Law School of the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro and PhD from the Law School of the University of Cologne, Claudio is Honorary President (for life) of the Brazil-Germany Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Rio de Janeiro and was Ambassador to Germany for the National Union of the Naval and Offshore Construction and Repair Industry (SINAVAL) from 2011 to 2023.
With his joining Schmidt Valois Advogados, the firm announces that it will become a member of the German-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.
