Shearman & Sterling instructed on Raizen tender offer

Shearman & Sterling advised Citigroup Global Markets, Credit Agricole Securities and J.P. Morgan Securities as dealer managers in connection with a tender offer by Raizen Energy Finance. 

The tender offer was launched to purchase up to $200 million in aggregate principal amount of Raizen´s outstanding 7.00% senior notes due 2017.

Raizen Energy Finance (formerly Cosan Finance) is a subsidiary of Raizen Energia, the Brazilian sugar and ethanol producer.

Partner Stuart Fleischmann led the Shearman & Sterling team which also included lawyers in New York, Sao Paulo and Washington, DC.
