Simpson Thacher acts on new Vesta Follow-On Offering

Simpson Thacher acted as the joint lead arrangers’ counsel in Vesta Real Estate Corporation’s (Vesta) SEC-registered follow-on public offering of 42,500,000 ordinary shares represented by American Depositary Shares (ADSs).

Barclays, Bank of America and Morgan Stanley acted as joint global coordinators.

This offering followed Vesta’s IPO and listing on the New York Stock Exchange in July. Vesta intends to use the net proceeds from the offering to continue to fund its growth strategy to address the demand for industrial real estate in Mexico as a result of near shoring trends.

Vesta owns, develops and manages real estate assets of industrial buildings and distribution centres in Mexico.
