Simpson Thacher advised underwriters on $750 million debt offering by Embraer

BB Securities, JP Morgan Securities and Santander Investment Securities instructed Simpson Thacher in a SEC-registered offering by Embraer. 

The $750 million of 5.4% notes due 2027 listed on the New York Stock Exchange.

Embraer is a Brazilian manufacturer of commercial, military, executive and agricultural aircraft. The company guaranteed the notes, which were issued by its subsidiary Embraer Netherlands Finance. 

Partners Grenfel S. Calheiros and Jaime Mercado led the Simpson Thacher team advising the underwriters, which also instructed Bocater, Camargo, Costa e Silva, Rodrigues for Brazilian law. 

The issuer retained Milbank in the US and Soares, Bumachar, Barros in Brazil. 

Loyens & Loeff provided advise under Dutch law.
