Simpson Thacher assists in new offering by América Móvil

Simpson Thacher has assisted the underwriters in the public offering of 20 billion pesos (USD $1,200 approx.) of 10.300% Senior Notes due 2034 by América Móvil.

América Móvil will use the net proceeds from the offering of the notes to finance or refinance, in whole or in part, expenditures and investments in one or more eligible green projects or eligible social projects.

The notes are registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. The notes are registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and the Comisión Nacional Bancaria y de Valores, and will be listed on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange for trading on the Euro MTF Market and on the Mexican Stock Exchange.

Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, HSBC, BBVA, J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley and Santander acted as placement intermediaries.

Mexico-based América Móvil is one of the leading telecommunications service providers in Latin America, ranking first in wireless, fixed-line, broadband and pay-TV services based on the number of revenue generating units (RGUs).
