SiqueiraCastro opens new Rio office

SiqueiraCastro Advogados opened a new office in Rio de Janeiro on 10 August, moving into the Torre Almirante, a Triple A corporate building located in the city’s downtown district. The relocation is part of a broader strategic shift the firm has undertaken, aimed at reinforcing its positioning as a business consultancy built on legal intelligence.

The new space was designed by D+E Turnkey, a firm specializing in architecture and engineering for large corporate projects. The layout was conceived to foster collaboration between teams and integrate the firm’s different practice areas, reflecting in the physical environment the multidisciplinary approach that guides the firm’s work. The office includes meeting rooms, common areas and technology infrastructure meant to support a full-service practice with national operations and international alliances.

The Torre Almirante rises 120 metres in the heart of downtown Rio de Janeiro and holds LEED v4.1 O+M Gold and Fitwel 2 Star Rating certifications, both international benchmarks for building quality and workplace well-being. The location offers direct access to Santos Dumont Airport, the Praça XV ferry terminal, the VLT light rail and the Carioca metro station, which the firm says strengthens connections with clients, partners and staff across the metropolitan area.

The choice of building and location, according to the firm, aligns with its commitments as a signatory of the United Nations Global Compact, incorporating sustainability considerations into the move.

Carlos Fernando Siqueira Castro, CEO of SiqueiraCastro Advogados, commented on the move: “When we choose a new address, we are saying who we are and where we are going. We are investing in Rio de Janeiro with seriousness. A good environment is a condition for work well done. When the team meets, collaborates and takes pride in where it is, that reaches the client.”

SiqueiraCastro Advogados has operated for 78 years with a national presence in Brazil, and maintains international alliances and partnerships across various areas of business law.
