Souto Correa act as deal counsel on CRIs issuance by Cibrafértil
Souto Correa acted as deal counsel on the issuance of real estate receivables (CRI) backed by real estate credits arising from debentures of the second issuance by Cibrafértil – Companhia Brasileira de Fertilizantes.
The issuer is one of the five largest fertilizer producers for agribusiness in Brazil, with growth consistently above the industry average in recent years.
The proceeds raised through the transaction will be used to enable the company’s expansion plan, including the construction of factories in the states of Mato Grosso and Maranhão, and the acquisition of fertilizer production and storage units.
Banco Votorantim acted as lead coordinator, Banco Industrial do Brasil, Banco BMG, and UBS Brasil Corretora de Câmbio, Títulos e Valores Mobiliários, as coordinators.
The transaction value was BRL 300 million.
