Souto Correa hires specialist in agribusiness area

Ticiane Vitória Figueirêdo (pictured) is the new hire of Souto Correa Advogados for the Agribusiness area. As an expert in the sector, she has 12 years of experience and came to Souto Correa to act as a strategic consultant with an emphasis on credit granting and structuring operations, such as digital bonds, issuance of Rural Product Bills (CPRs), and negotiations in the Barter model.

Ticiane has specializations in Agribusiness (from University of São Paulo – USP/Esalq), in Civil Law (from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie), and Capital Markets and Exchange (from FGV).

The lawyer also actively participates in a working group at the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (Mapa) to discuss the Amendments to MP 1104/2022, and the Provisional Measure 1104/2022, which affect important agribusiness regulation laws such as the Agro Law and the CPR Law.
Moreover, she works as an advisor to the Agribusiness Credit Congress (Conacredi).

Ticiane is also a member of the Content Committee of the Youth Agribusiness Movement International (Yami), and coordinator of the Agribusiness and Sustainability Law Commission of the Brazilian Institute of Studies and Research in Political and Legal Sciences (Ipojur), and a volunteer at the São Paulo Women’s Union, where she is the assistant coordinator of the Popular Legal Promoters Course. In addition, she has been nominated as an ambassador for the Women in Agribusiness Award.

Besides that, Ticiane is a guest professor at Fecap, Insper, the National Association of Agricultural and Veterinary Input Distributors (Andav), and Prossiga Governança & Succession, and a professor at the Graduate Program in Agribusiness Law at the Brazilian Academy of Agribusiness Law (Abrada) and the specialization course in “Agribusiness Law, Sustainability and Foreign Trade” at EPD – Escola Paulista de Direito.
