Stocche Forbes advises Mubadala on the acquisition of Instituto de Ensino em Saúde
Stocche Forbes advised Mubadala Capital on the acquisition of a 80% equity stake in Instituto de Ensino em Saúde, a company that operates two medical schools, in the cities of Salvador/BA and Eunapolis/BA. The seller was advised by Cascione, Pulino Boulos Advogados.
The medical schools were cared-out from IMES, the company that operates the UNIFTC university. The transaction involved a ground-breaking restructuring in view of the restrctive Brazilian regulatory framework, in order to allow the segregation of the medical schools from the remainder univerty.
The transaction value was BRL 1.7 billion.
