Tauil & Chequer Advogados advises Nestlé on deal with Enel Brasil
Tauil & Chequer Advogados, in association with Mayer Brown, advised Nestlé, the world’s largest food company, on the structuring and implementation of an energy self-production project in consortium with Enel Brasil, to supply the electricity of five Nestlé Brasil industrial units in São Paulo, Espírito Santo and Minas Gerais, generated by the Cumaru Wind Complex, in the state of Rio Grande do Norte.
These five industrial units are responsible for 40% of Nestlé Brasil’s energy demand.
Tauil & chequer relied on partner Victor Galante and Débora Yanasse, and associates Lucas Zamproni, Bruno Ribeiro, Gabriela Jansen and Caio Souza, all from the Energy practice. The operation included partners Guido Vinci and Ana Luiza Martins and associate Raphael Furtado, all from the Tax practice, and consultant Isabella Giorgi, from the Antitrust practice.
