Tauil & Chequer Advogados announces the arrival of a new partner
Tauil & Chequer Advogados in association with Mayer Brown announced the arrival of Diego Miguita (pictured) as a new partner in the tax practice in São Paulo, focusing on the energy sector, specifically in the areas of mergers and acquisitions (M&A), cross-border investments and financial and capital market transactions. He comes from VBSO Advogados.
He holds certifications in International Financial Reporting (CertIFR) from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), and is the author of two books on tax law, one of which focuses on the energy sector. In addition, Diego founded initiatives such as the IFRS Study Group and the social project Building Bridges.
