Tauil & Chequer and Cescon in Corsan’s BRL1.5 billion issue
Tauil & Chequer Advogados in association with Mayer Brown advised Companhia Riograndense de Saneamento (CORSAN) on its 6th issue of debentures, in the amount of R$1.5 billion.
The issue was carried out through a public offering of simple debentures, not convertible into shares, of the unsecured type, in two series (of 10 and 15 years), and was coordinated by Itaú BBA, BTG Pactual, XP Investimentos, Safra, Santander Brasil, ABC Brasil Distribuidora, Citibank and Bradesco BBI, who were advised by Cescon Barrieu.
The net funds obtained by Corsan will be used for the future payment or reimbursement of costs, expenses or debts related to investments in the implementation, expansion and adaptation of water supply and sewage systems in various municipalities in the state of Rio Grande do Sul.
