Themudo Lessa and others on Ascenty’s financing

Themudo Lessa Advogados advised Ascenty, the largest data centers service provider in Latin America, on a fund raising of $1.025 billion financing, through an offshore syndicated credit facility and a local debentures issuance, both with a 5-year tenor.

The offshore financing was a Term Loan Facility worth USD 825 million, led by Itaú, Natixis, Scotiabank, Credit Agricole, Banco MUFG Brasil and Mizuho (among other banks who joined the transaction).

The local market debentures had an amount equivalent to USD 200 million, led by Bradesco.

Themudo Lessa Advogados advised the company and relied on partners Marcos Lessa (pictured left), Daniela Noda (pictured right) and associates Ana Paula Xavier, Julia Cecato e Wilson dos Santos.

Latham & Watkins and Schivartche Advogados also advised the same partie.

The syndicate of banks was advised by Shearman & Sterling and Pinheiro Guimarães.
