Tortoro, Madureira e Ragazzi Advogados has announced the arrival of lawyer Thaís Maria Leonel (pictured) as a partner in the new environmental law area, reinforcing the firm’s commitment to legal excellence and expanding its work in infrastructure, energy, agribusiness and sustainability.

Thaís excels in advising large companies on issues such as environmental licensing, land regularization, administrative defense, climate litigation, ESG and environmental compliance.

She specializes in Environmental Law and Climate Change at the Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha (Spain) and holds a master’s degree in Diffuse and Collective Rights from UNIMES.
