Tozzini Freire assists Mineira da Sorte in contract with Lemg

TozziniFreire Advogados advised Mineira da Sorte Loteria SPE in the very first project to operate lottery in Brazil of global lottery giants IGT and Scientific Games (controlled by Canada’s Brookfield).

The consortium formed by Mineira da Sorte Loteria SPE, a joint venture between IGT Globat INC. and Scientific Games LLC., and Saga Consultoria e Representacoes Comerciais e Empresariais, signed the 20-year concession agreement to operate the standard and instant lottery services of Loteria do Estado de Minas Gerais (Lemg).

The transaction value was worth BRL 5 billion.

TozziniFreire Advogados advised Mineira da Sorte Loteria and relied on partners Jun Oyafuso Makuta (pictured left) and Caio Loureiro (pictured right), and associates Adriana Ferreira, Eduardo Alfonso and Lais Yamashita.
