TozziniFreire advises on Brazilian-Chilean car leasing venture

TozziniFreire advised Arval Brasil in the acquisition of the Brazilian subsidiary of Empresas Relsa. 

Empresas Relsa is a Chilean holding company with operations in automotive leasing in Brazil, Chile and Peru. Arval Brasil is the subsidiary of French bank BNP Paris which focuses on long term rentals of corporate vehicles. 

The deal, of undisclosed value, gives Arval Brasil 100% control over the Brazilian unit of Relsa and also creates a joint venture, Arval Relsa, to handle the operations in Chile and Peru.

Partner Marta Viegas Rocha led the team TozziniFreire advising Arval Brasil on this deal.
