TozziniFreire advises Sugoi on issuance of social CRI of OPEA

TozziniFreire Advogados assisted Sugoi in the public distribution of the 1st and 2nd series of social real estate receivables certificates (CRI Social) of the 41st issue of Opea Securitizadora in the total amount of R$100 million, backed by Sugoi’s 5th issue of debentures, non convertible into shares.

The funds raised will be allocated to properties and their respective real estate constructions developed by the Company and/or its subsidiaries under the “Minha Casa, Minha Vida” social program or any other governmental program, as long as they are exclusively focused on the development of social interest housing projects. The main objective of this Social CRI is to leverage the social mobility of vulnerable families and increase the access of families at an affordable price.

TozziniFreire Advogados had its partner Ricardo Stuber (pictured) and associates Daiane Nunes, Vitória Costa Monteiro and Flávia Biagiotti.

Negrão Ferrari Advogados assisted Modal (underwriter) and relied on Leopoldo Aguiar, Luma Diniz Lúcio, Felipe Sousa Amaral Alves and Valéria Pereira de Siqueira.
