TozziniFreire and Bronstein Zilberberg act in investment round of Grão Direto, which raised about R$40 million in its third round of investments in a Series A-2 Series from strategic agribusiness powerhouses Cargill , Louis Dreyfus Company , Archer Daniels Midland Company and Amaggi Agro.
The conclusion of the transaction is conditional on CADE’s approval. Grão Direto was backed by investment funds Canary , Lanx Capital , Leaps by Bayer , OpenVc and Barn Investimentos .
Grão Direto was founded in 2016 with the goal of digitizing the agricultural commodity chain, helping farmers and buyers to conduct transactions more efficiently, securely and electronically, generating high-efficiency integration for the entire market. In addition to supporting the marketing of agricultural products, the company provides exclusive information about the grain market, in reports and personalized news. Grão Direto was founded by co-founders Alexandre Borges , Pedro Paiva and Frederico Marques .
