TozziniFreire and Mattos Filho on acquisition of Randon by Gerdau
TozziniFreire Advogados advised Gerdau on the acquisition of 50% of a company fully controlled by Randon, wich was represented by Mattos Filho.
Entry of Gerdau and Randon into a new and growing market segment (rental of trucks and semi-trailers), as well as the possibility of exploring the rental of construction and agribusiness machinery. The objective is to position the partnership as a leader in the segment in the coming years. The completion of the transaction is still subject to regulatory approvals.
The transaction value was R$ 250 million.
