TozziniFreire Advogados announced Pedro Eroles (pictured) as its new partner in the banking, fintechs, payments, and blockchain practice areas.

Eroles is highly seasoned in regulating financial services, payments, fintechs, cryptoassets, derivatives, blockchain, transactions (such as M&As, IPOs and financing) involving regulated entities and administrative proceedings before BACEN (Central Bank of Brazil) and CVM (Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission).

Graduate of the Law School of USP (Universidade de São Paulo), Eroles also holds a master’s and doctorate degrees in Civil Law and a postdoctoral degree in International Law from the same institution. He was a visiting researcher on Private Law and Jurisprudence at the University of Edinburgh’s Law School, Scotland. Additionally, he is a professor of Banking, Payments and Fintech Regulation at Insper.
