TozziniFreire, Veirano and other firms acted in the US$ 15.5 million investment in Medway Residência Médica Ltda. The Series A round was led by SoftBank (Global Founders Capital, EquitasVC, Aggir Ventures, Sacale Up Ventures (from Endeavor), Neuron Ventures, Allievo Capital and Grão VC also invested).

Medway is an educational MedTech that offers courses and support to candidates trying to enter medical residency in Brazil. The country has more than a thousand institutions offering about sixty-five hundred residency programs for physicians who leave from more than 300 schools each year.

TozziniFreire Advogados was legal counsel to Softbank (through SLA Investments III LLC) and others and relied on partners João Busin (pictured top left), Beatriz Seixas pictured top right), associates Victor Françoso, Luis Felipe Bueno Sima and Bárbara Correa de Queiroz.

Nelson Mullins advised the same partie with team formed by partners Leandro Mollina and Jordan Zorners.
