TRSYM promotes Javier Constanzó as new partner

Tavarone Rovelli Salim & Miani has announced the appointment of Javier Constanzó (pictured), a senior associate at the firm, as partner, who joins to lead the Energy, Infrastructure and Natural Resources practice alongside Nicolás Eliaschev.

Javier will bring his experience to our platform to reinforce one of our leading practices in the market” said Marcelo R. Tavarone, managing partner of the firm.

Constanzó is an expert in regulatory and public law, and has outstanding experience in structuring energy and infrastructure projects, with relevant involvement in project finance, M&A, and other corporate transactions related to conventional and renewable energy. He also advises clients on a variety of infrastructure matters, mainly lithium, representing banks, sponsors, mining companies, and power generators.

Javier has played key roles throughout his career as an Associate at Tavarone Rovelli Salim & Miani since October 2016, and has contributed to positioning the firm’s energy and infrastructure practice as a market leader. In addition, during 2021-2022, he served as an International Visiting Associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins, as a member of the corporate and project finance practice, successfully rejoining the firm thereafter.

Furthermore, Javier completed a postgraduate course in Finance and Corporate Law at the Universidad del CEMA, a Master in Public Law and Economics at the Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina, and is a lawyer graduated from the Universidad de Buenos Aires. In addition to his private practice, Javier teaches energy and public law at various universities.
