Two firms advise on Profarma’s acquisition of 4Bio Medicamentos

Trench Rossi Watanabe advised Profarma on the acquisition of 100% of the equity of 4Bio Medicamentos, formerly owned by RD Saúde, in a transaction valued at approximately BRL 600 million (US$ 113.7 million). BMA advised Raia Drogasil.

4Bio is one of Brazil’s leading distributors of specialty and highly complex medications, serving hospitals, clinics, healthcare providers, and patients nationwide. The acquisition represents the largest transaction ever carried out by Profarma and marks the group’s return to the specialized distribution segment.
