Two firms advise on the acquisition of a stake in Paag by BS2

Pinheiro Guimarães advised the buyer and Pinheiro Neto advised the sellers on the transaction which Banco BS2 acquired a relevant minority stake in Paag, a fintech specialized in payment solutions for gambling operations, marking a strategic step in the bank’s expansion into the Brazilian betting market. Banco BS2 has the option to acquire up to 100% of Paag’s shares.

Pinheiro Guimarães advised Banco BS2 and relied on partner Bernardo Bulhões (pictured) and associates Janilson de Oliveira Baptista Vaz and Letícia Carolina Gomes.

Pinheiro Neto advised Paag and relied on partner Fernando Mirandez Del Nero Gomes (pictured right), senior associate Gerson Durant Gomes Filho, associate Catharina Fávero Mirandola and André Salles.
