Two firms assists in the acquisition of the Wickbold Group by Bimbo
Trench Rossi Watanabe advised Grupo Bimbo, through Bimbo do Brasil, on the acquisition of 100% of the share capital of the companies belonging to the Wickbold family, focused on the production and sale of a wide range of products, such as cereal bars, breads, cookies, panettone and pasta, with significant operations in the retail and wholesale sectors. Grupo Wickbold was advised by Pinheiro Neto Advogados.
The business, purchased by the Mexican group, included the Wickbold® and Seven Boys® brands, along with four manufacturing facilities located in the south and southeast regions of Brazil. These facilities produce a variety of products, including packaged bread, sweet baked goods, cookies, dinner rolls, and panettones.
