Viseu Advogados expands its strategic civil litigation practice

Viseu Advogados has announced the addition to its roster of partners with the arrival of Cristiana França Castro Bauer (pictured) – the third partner to join the firm this year.

Cristiana has more than 20 years of experience in the law practice, with a strong academic background, having already integrated renowned law firms in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.

She has a long experience in strategic civil litigation, with a background in complex legal disputes related to the financial market, corporate disputes, commercial litigation of various natures, judicial recovery, credit recovery, and arbitration.

Currently, the civil litigation area at Viseu Advogados is conducted by partners Fernanda Horovitz and Carlos Nei Barreto. Cristiana arrives to increase the current operation with 6 more professionals under her management and projects involving banks, fintechs, investment funds and fund managers.

The firm now has 16 partners, 8 women and 8 men, a gender balance that is one of Viseu’s diversity and inclusion goals.
