VPBG appoints new Partners

VPBG – Vella Pugliese Buosi e Guidoni Advogados announced five new partners, they are (in the image from left to right) Erik Martins Sernik, Bruno Sanchez Belo, Fernanda Le Tassinari, Anderson Moura e Fernando Henrique Lopes.

Anderson Moura graduated in Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, and holds a Specialization and an LL.M degree in Environmental Law, both from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo. He has experience in providing solutions for cases related to contamination, pollution control, environmental licensing, waste management, forest protection, indigenous communities, water resources, climate change, among other environmental-related matters. His performance covers several activities, including legal advice, litigation, complex negotiation with authorities, as well as conducting specific transactions and projects. He also assists clients with regulatory matters in Brazil, such as biotechnology, food and agribusiness regulations.

Bruno Sanchez Belo graduated in Faculdade Autônoma de Direito and is currently pursuing an LL.M. degree in Corporate Law and Capital Markets at IBMEC and an LL.M. Prior to joining VPBG, he worked at prominent law firms and was a senior in-house legal counsel at Louis Dreyfus. He has built his practice in civil litigation focused on commercial/contractual, corporate, capital markets, technology and digital law, agribusiness, bankruptcies and judicial reorganizations matters, including arbitration and other alternative mechanisms for dispute resolution. Bruno is a highly qualified professional with focus on Public, Regulatory, Infrastructure, Energy and Environmental Law.

Erik Martins Sernik graduated in Universidade de São Paulo (USP) and holds a LL.M degree in Financial and Capital Markets Law by Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa (INSPER). His experience is focused on complex and sophisticated judicial disputes and arbitration proceedings involving capital markets, banking and financing, construction, corporate disputes and civil liability. He advises clients throughout the phases of a dispute resolution: from the pre-litigation stage to the representation in arbitrations and civil lawsuits. Erik is highly regarded for his technical expertise and he is engaged in the most relevant Arbitration cases of our law firm, solidifying its practice in this area.

Fernanda Le Tassinari graduated in Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC/SP). With more than 20 years of experience with corporate and M&A matters, Fernanda concentrates her practice on complex M&A transactions and corporate matters. She has built her experience working for national and international clients of a wide range of industries. After experiences in renowned law firms, Fernanda joined VPBG in 2018 as of-counsel and after and has been involved and conducted several relevant transactions for the firm’s main clients.

Fernando Henrique Lopes graduated in Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC/SP) and holds a specialization degree in Corporate Law at Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV). Fernando has more than 15 years of experience and concentrates his practice on the complex corporate and contractual matters. He has vast experience working matters related to contracts, corporate law, corporate governance, long-term incentives and compliance. He advises national and international companies and groups from different industry sectors and has an outstanding performance in structuring and negotiating commercial and corporate transactions. His practice also involves investment operations, infrastructure and asset-based financing. He is also one of the main project leaders related to inclusion, minority and social responsibility, promotes and provides pro-bono services, including recruiting and leading high potential young members to become the next generation of VPBG’s leaders.
