Zavagna Gralha advises Grupo Tecnova on its first M&A transaction

Zavagna Gralha Advogados advised Grupo Tecnova on the acquisition of a controlling stake in Sul Engenharia e Sistemas.

Grupo Tecnova is a Porto Alegre-based engineering group with operations across 18 Brazilian states, structured around three business verticals: Tecnova Soluções (substation and power plant EPC), Tecnova Engenharia (consultancy and executive projects), and Tecnova Automação (protection, control, and supervisory systems).

Sul Engenharia e Sistemas, a Rio Grande do Sul company and reference in Protection, Control, and Supervisory Systems (SPCS) with over 200 projects delivered across substations and transmission lines, will operate strategically within Tecnova Automação — verticalizing a critical technical capability and reinforcing the Group’s ability to deliver end-to-end engineering solutions.
