ZBV adds tax partner from Brons & Salas

Argentinean law firm Zang, Bergel & Viñes Abogados (ZBV) announced that Diego Embón has joined the partnership.

Embón received his LL. B. from the Universidad de Belgrano, in Buenos Aires, in 1995. He also finished his specialization in Finance and Tax Law at Universidad de Belgrano, in 2006. His experience covers national, provincial, and municipal taxes, as well as tax planning at both local and international level.

At his new firm, Embón is tasked with leading the tax practice group.

ZBV has been on a recruitment drive this year. The arrival of Diego Embón marks the third partner addition in 2017 and the second hire from Brons & Salas. In February this year, ZBV hired Amalia Saénz to front its energy group, she was a partner at Brons & Salas. In May, Emilio Battioli joined ZBV to head the public law department, from law firm Paolantonio & Legón.

Commenting on the recent appointment, Carolina Zang, managing partner at ZBV, said: “The growth we are experiencing this year at the firm in terms of additions of new partners, and other new talents, is quite noteworthy. We are all enthusiastic about the interaction which Diego’s department will have with our corporate, finance & capital market, M&A, litigation, and real estate working teams. Diego combines a thorough understanding of the law with plenty of energy for legal practice, which is a combination of assets that we and our clients truly appreciate.”
