Cescon Barrieu advises EDP in debenture issue

Cescon Barrieu Advogados advised EDP São Paulo Distribuição de Energia on the issue of debentures

Cescon Barrieu Advogados advised EDP São Paulo Distribuição de Energia in its 12th issue of non-convertible debentures, in a single series, for public distribution with restricted placement efforts pursuant to CVM Instruction 476, in the amount of R$ 350 million.

UBS Brasil Corretora de Câmbio, Títulos e Valores Mobiliários S.A. was the main underwriter of the offering.

The net proceeds of the offering will be used by the company to refinance and extend the average term of its obligations and to reinforce the cash used in the company’s ordinary business.

Cescon Barrieu Advogados had a team formed by partner Ana Paula Alvarez Calil (pictured), associate Rafael Alvim Morgado, and intern Pedro Nogueira.

Vieira Rezende Advogados assisted the lead underwriter.
