H&Cía represents BanBif in granting loan to El Pino
Hernández & Cía. has represented Banco Interamericano de Finanzas (BanBif) and its subsequent assignees, in a financing operation for up to US$ 20’400,000.00, in favor of Inversiones El Pino.
The loan was closed on August 21 and disbursed on September 12. BanBif acted as lender and agent, and BD Capital SAF as lenders.
The financing was to be used primarily to prepay existing obligations and working capital.
The transaction is backed by two security trusts, constituted over one of the Company’s assets and the collection rights and cash flows of its customers, as well as a mortgage and a security interest. In addition, an escrow agreement was also entered into with BCP.
Inversiones El Pino is a Peruvian company with more than 35 years of experience in the development of real estate and real estate projects, which has experienced strong growth in the market in recent years.
The in-house counsels who participated in the transaction were Martín Solari for Inversiones El Pino; Vania Góngora, Álvaro Egoavil, Mijail Valera and Elva Ramos for BanBif; and Maria Fernanda Alcaide and Ikra Espinoza for La Fiduciaria.
