CSW launched focusing on complex disputes and restructurings

Luciana Celidonio, Eduardo Wanderley, and Priscila Kei Sato (pictured from left to right) have announced the launch of CSW Advogados, a boutique firm focused on dispute resolution, restructuring, and insolvency.

The new firm is being established amid growing demand for services in the Brazilian corporate insolvency market. In the area of dispute resolution, the firm’s professionals bring decades of experience in judicial litigation and arbitrations involving a wide variety of economic sectors, including civil construction and projects, healthcare, telecommunications, mining, financial markets, insurance, among others.

Eduardo Wanderley was a partner at BMA Advogados for nearly nine years, leading significant mandates in judicial and extrajudicial reorganizations, bankruptcies, and debt restructurings, as well as investments in the sector. More recently, he worked on the judicial reorganizations of Light, Americanas, and Samarco, earning notable individual recognitions for his role in these cases.

Luciana Celidonio was a partner at BMA for four years, where she practiced corporate restructuring, bankruptcies, and business litigation. With both advisory and contentious experience, she has broad expertise in complex cases and sensitive negotiations. She notably led the judicial reorganization of Americanas. Luciana was previously a partner at Tauil & Chequer Advogados and a senior associate at Veirano Advogados. Her academic background includes a law degree from PUC-SP, a master’s degree from USP, and an LL.M. from Georgetown University (USA).

Priscila Kei Sato has over three decades of experience in civil and corporate litigation, with a distinguished record leading complex and strategic disputes across various sectors of the economy, including financial markets, real estate, energy, and infrastructure. Throughout her career, she has advised national and international clients in high-profile disputes and has also worked on corporate restructuring and insolvency matters. She graduated in Law from PUC-SP and holds both a master’s and a doctoral degree from the same institution. She also studied at the University of Pennsylvania and the University of California, Berkeley (USA).

With offices in São Paulo and Curitiba, the new firm also has a team of 12 associates.
